Stake Dodgeball
There will be stake dodgeball on Wed., December 28th at 10 a. at the stake center. All ages are welcome.

Congratulations to the Canyon View combined Men's team and the Coed team for winning the area volleyball tournament. The women's team is still playing in their tournament this Saturday.

I scheduled the stake center for 7 p.m. on Thursday (11/3) so we can have another practice for the men and young men that are interested. (The women will be playing in their tournament at 7:30).

We talked about playing again Saturday Oct 22 at 8 a.m. but the stake center is taken for the 7th ward RS activity starting at 8 a.m. so let's play at the 8th East Building.
Young Men Flag Football
The 2nd ward will be competing for the flag football area championship on Saturday, October 22nd at 9:30 a.m. (430 S. 700 E. Orem).

Flag Football
We will be playing again next Saturday, Oct 1st at 8:00 AM. (We will finish by 9:30 AM to allow time to get ready for General Conference) If you are interested in playing come on over to the field behind Canyon View Junior High. If you don't have a whole team don't worry about it, we'll just group up into teams based on who shows up.

Area Volleyball
Just a heads up that the area volleyball tournament will take place on November 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12. The area will allow up to 2 teams for young women, young men, adult women, adult men and adult coed. Time to start getting teams together!
Some of the adults from the stake have been playing on Saturday mornings at 8 AM at the Stake Center so if you are interested in playing come to this Saturday (Sept 17th).

Young Men (deacons, teachers and priests all welcome to play) - 1, 2, 7, 9, 10 and we will have 1 combined team for all other wards to play on.
Men - 1 and 9
Games will be on Saturday mornings at the field behind Canyon View Junior High. Each team is required to supply their own coach and a ref.
Here's the planned schedule. (Schedule may change if enough people don't show up)

Stake YW Volleyball
Open-play stake YW volleyball is starting Friday, Sep. 9th at 4:30 p. at the stake center. It will continue each Friday through the second week of October as long as we have enough participants.
Stake Youth Volleyball Clinic
Stake Youth Volleyball Clinic for all skill levels at the stake center on August 25th at 7 p.m. Come learn some new skills in preparation for the upcoming volleyball season!
Stake Futsal Open Play
We will be having stake futsal open play for the youth on Saturday, August 13th in the stake center cultural hall. Young men open play will start at 1 p.m. and young women play will begin at 2 p.m. Come get on the roster for the area tournament and get some practice in!
The area tournament will take place August 19th and 20th.
